Widescreen The first thing we notice about the photo's are the wide screens of the new GO's. The former GO generation still used 'regular' 4:3 screen resolution, but these new models all feature a 4 inch widescreen! We're not entirely sure yet, but at first glance it looks the screens have a 16:9 resolution
GO 520 will also make speech recognition available in certain European countries allowing the users to speak the address they want to go to instead of trying to typing it in.

Just buy one its Brilliant We already expected that TomTom would release new models around CeBIT, just like they did last year. But the what and the how was still guesswork. Until today, because TomTom has just unveiled the first details for the 2006 GO lineup. It will consist out of three models: the TomTom GO 510, the TomTom GO 710 and the TomTom GO 910. Widescreen The first thing we notice about the photo's are the wide screens of the new GO's. The former GO generation still used 'regular' 4:3 screen resolution, but these new models all feature a 4 inch widescreen! We're not entirely sure yet, but at first glance it looks the screens have a 16:9 resolution. And that's a first when it comes to PND's! Also hard to ignore is the fact that the 510, 710 and 910 all still feature the well-known round GO-shape. So the ONE is still the odd one out. No doubt the round shape of the GO is preserved because this is a necessity for the implementation of a high quality speaker. As you probably know, this speaker is needed to be able to produce the well-known powerful and warm GO-sound. According to TomTom, all three new models feature greatly enhanced GPS reception. No doubt that these units also feature the quite new but already renowned SiRF Star III chipset. We've come to know and love this chipset because it's also used in the ONE and the RIDER. So we know all about the spectacular good and stable GPS reception we may expect from it. HOME But there's more news. Today TomTom also announced that the GO 510, 710 and 910 will ship with a so-called docking station in the box, which will enable you to charge your PND or connect it to your computer in an easy fashion. There will also be the new and free TomTom HOME software. This software will allow you to manage your GO. The TomTom GO 510, 710 and 910 will all feature improved handsfree functionality and will ship with TomTom's newest safety camera database already installed.
