Skymate is waterproof, it floats, and it has a high visibility case. The pocket-knife design not only protects the unit when not in use but also ensures that the batteries are not flattened accidentally when the unit is stowed away in your bag or pocket. The Skymate is threaded for triPod mounting.
The SkyMate simultaneously provides precision air velocity and temperature measurements. Wind-chill is computed, maximum wind speed is recorded, and average readings can be based on intervals of 5, 10 and 13 seconds. The unique Data Lock feature allows you to hold wind speed and temperature readings, until the instrument is turned off.
