Fitting and Operation RoadPilot
Road Pilot is very easy to fit. Simply secure it to the vehicle?s dashboard or windscreen using the special mounting stalk. Plug the power lead into the car's cigarette lighter socket for power and position the GPS antenna for best reception.
Updating And Database Information
Road Pilot is delivered with a desktop USB interface (connector) enabling you to access the comprehensive and regularly updated Morpheous database from your PC. Free updates are included for the first 12 months after which the charge is ?50 plus VAT a year. If you do not have access to a PC, or are frequently on the move, a dedicated modem is available that dials directly into the Morpheous database. The database is updated twice daily and covers England, Scotland and Wales with the following data:
* Speed Cameras
* Collision Hotspots
* Schools (coming soon)
* Low Bridges
* Red Light Cameras
* Common 'Hand Held' Camera Sites

Congestion Charge Zone Update RoadPilot now includes a new Congestion Charge feature as follows: RoadPilot will warn the user that he/she is approaching a London Congestion Charge Zone. Warnings are given between 7.00am and 6.30pm. Warnings are not given at Weekends. RoadPilot will indicate when:
- approaching the CC Zone
- on the boundary of the CC Zone
- in the CC Zone
