Nokia 6600 Fold With the touch of a button, the Nokia 6600 Fold smoothly opens to reveal a 2.13" OLED screen displaying up to 16 million colors. The high-gloss surface of the Nokia 6600 fold comes to life when tapped twice to "wake up" the hidden outer display that provides information such as time, incoming messages and missed calls. A double tap on the Nokia 6600 Fold also snooze alerts and silences or rejects incoming phone calls.
Measuring 87.7 by 44 by 15.9 mm and weighing 110 grams, the 6600 Fold operates on Quad-band GSM networks with a talk time of up to 4 hours. Other connectivity includes EDGE and Bluetooth 2.0, but the 6600 fold operates on European HSDPA networks only. Through its microSD slot (4GB) and an included 512MB card, music and video are played back in standard formats such as MP3, AAC and WMA (audio) as well as H.263, 3GPP, H.264 and MPEG4.
A 2-megapixel camera acts as a video recorder, shooting VGA up to 15 fps and QVGA up to 30 fps. Data transfers should go like a breeze with an included USB 2.0 full speed cable. When it comes to browsing, the Nokia 6600 Fold offers both the Nokia Mini Map and Opera Mini browsers.
