The all new Nextbase SDV48AM brings the unbeatable quality of Nextbase at a fantastic price. The Nextbase SDV48AM is a twin screen tablet style portable DVD player, with the disc slotting neatly under the master player itself. This allows the player to be very slim and makes it ideal for use in the home as well as in the car on long journeys (car mounting kit included). The film can then be easily shared across both 7" screens.

DISPLAY

The 7" screens on the Nextbase SDV48AM portable DVD player are LED backlight high resolution panels with 480 x 234 RGB true colour pixels, which ensure that you always get a perfect picture. Unlike many other portable DVD players the Nextbase units are specifically designed to be fully portable, it has a very wide viewing angle and an inbuilt anti-skip mechanism which allows you to keep enjoying a film even if you are travelling down a bumpy country road.

SUPPORTED FORMATS

The Nextbase SDV48AM portable DVD player supports a huge range of discs and formats including DVD, DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, CD Audio, XviD, MPEG4, MP3, DivX, JPEG, JPG viewer and Kodak pictures so there is very little that this portable DVD player can't deal with.

 
CONNECTIVITY

On the side of the master player there is an audio/video output and input. The output means you can use the AV cable (supplied as standard) to plug into a TV and use the SDV48AM master unit as a standard DVD player. Video input means that you can plug any external video device, such as a camcorder into the player and view the video on the screen.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

A great advantage of the SDV48AM portable DVD player is that it's inbuilt rechargeable battery pack will power the system for 2 hours; so you can watch a film in the car, then stop at your destination and carry on viewing on the master unit without any hassle. The second slave screen can be used with the master with the 12V car power supply or with the mains power supply.

USB CONNECTIVITY

On the side of the DVD player there is a USB port where you can plug in a USB memory stick (up to 8GB) to view your pictures or watch movies directly from the USB stick. There is also a SD card slot which will support SD cars up to 4GB. This is a neat feature as you can store a number of movies onto a USB stick or SD card directly from your PC, and then watch them whenever you like.

The rear of the screens features a picture frame style stand for standing on a flat surface such as a table. It also comes with a car headrest mounting kit for fitting your portable player in the car on those long road trips, together with a car cigarette lighter power adapter and screen linking cable.
