Traffic Message Channel (TMC) information
TMC gives your Mio C520t the capability to pick alternative routes to navigate you around traffic jams and hold-ups as you go. The TMC module is fully integrated in the cradle. The TMC service delivers instant traffic and travel information direct to your Mio navigation device.
Brand-new MioMap v3: next generation navigation software
The Mio C520t makes intelligent use of its widescreen. The screen enables you to see the full map view and a selection of route information aside from it.
It means that you can easily identify route information, such as points of interest, without quitting the navigation function.
You can choose between 16 different languages: Czech, Danish, Dutch, UK English, US English, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish are all available - and you can even choose the voice you prefer for audio directions.

Simple Navigation - A crystal-clear 3.5” touch screen and a range of user-friendly features make the Mio C250 simple to use as well as easy to follow. The Mio C250 is designed to be as user-friendly as possible. On-screen buttons and clever predictive keyboard make it easy to enter a destination, whether by name or postal code. Frequently used addresses can be stored in a list of Favourites so you don’t have to type them in every time, and you can also designate a shortcut button for your own address.
As you drive along, all the journey information you need on the Mio C250 is easy to see. Estimated time of arrival, distance, battery, Optional TMC and signal status can all be viewed. You can also keep an eye on the speed you’re travelling at and, just in case you need reminding, speed limits are also shown when available.
Speed Camera Warnings - For your safety, the Mio C250 tells you the likely locations of fixed speed cameras and the likely locations of mobile traps, with free updates for a full year from the time you register. You can choose between visual and/or audio signal to warn you.
You can download new speed camera locations from the moment you register on Mio Tech website (www.mio-tech.be). You can also indicate new speed camera locations on your device, and upload them to the database. You can even determine the direction of the speed camera.
