1/16 Panther Radio Controlled Tank -PRO VERSION The Panther, next to the Tiger is the best-known German tank of World War II. The Panther and the Soviet T-34 are considered to be the best tanks of World War II.

Panther’s technical design incorporated many features of the T-34, such as wide tracks for better traction and improved cross-country performance, a powerful engine, a hard-hitting long-barrelled 75mm gun, and sloping armor for extra protection. The Panther was the first German-made tank with sloping armor. Although its design was in some ways similar to the T-34, the Panther was larger, heavier, and different in many technical aspects. The Panther had large overlapping road wheels and a state-of-the-art suspension system that enabled it to traverse rough terrain at high speed. The main gun was a 7.5 cm Rheinmetall-Borsig KwK 42 with 79 rounds with semi-automatic shell ejection. The Panther's gun was one of the most powerful tank guns of WWII, due to the large propellant charge and the long barrel, which gave it a very high muzzle velocity and excellent armor-piercing qualities. The tank had normally two MG 34 machine guns of a specific version designed for use in armored combat vehicles featuring an armored barrel sleeve. An MG 34 machine gun was located co-axially with the main gun on the gun mantlet; an identical MG 34 was located on the glacis plate and fired by the radio operator.

All functions of the rc tank are controlled from the included transmitter. The tank can go forward and backward at two different speeds and the real working tracks mean it can be rotated any way. The turret is also fully controllable and can be rotated as well as moving the gun up and down. The tank has working suspension for climbing over objects and up hills. The pro version has also been upgraded with a metal gearbox making it more powerful and reliable.
