Garmin eTrex BLOWOUT PRICE (Newly Overhauled)low cost, Rugged and trendy looking GPS unit in its bright yellow case is ideal for walkers and mountain bikers on a budget. The eTrex has proven itself to be one of the most successful handheld receivers on the market.
Smaller and lighter than many mobile phones, Garmin eTrex is ideal for carrying on long distance walks where rucksack space is at a premium and excess weight is to be avoided. The Garmin eTrex has a waterproof construction which will also appeal to marine users, as well as those in extreme weather conditions on ‘dry’ land.
The manual supplied with the unit is easy to follow, while the menu commands on screen are very user-friendly. You will soon have the basics of GPS navigation at your fingertips. With only five buttons, the Garmin eTrex is comfortable to hold and operate with one hand, leaving you free to hold your map in the other.
The Garmin eTrex includes a useful feature allowing you to calculate your current and average speed, and estimate your time of arrival at a destination. The display provides additional information including your current location, distance travelled and baring to a waypoint. A PC link allows limited transfer of information to and from the Garmin eTrex. This includes route, track and waypoint data for pre-programming before you begin your journey, or for analysis when you get home.
