Energy efficient LED with 100 000 hour lifetime
The Freeplay Jonta Wind Up torch is both energy efficient and on the cutting edge of new technology. It is powered by a solid state Luxeon Star 1 Watt LED. A 30 second wind of the handle provides about 10 minutes of light in energy saving mode.
Wind up AC alternator is driven by the wind-up hand crank. The batteries are rechargable Ni MH battery pack. Can also be charged via mains adaptor (6V 200mA AC DC adapter) not supplied.
A fully recharged battery will last 24 hours in the energy saving mode, or 2 and a half hours on full power.
